About the living energy within

I hope you have seen My books and I hope you have read it. In that I have described to you very clearly what is the living energy within us that works. And anything that is working - for example, see this flower. Now I cannot order this one to go straight. It's moving in its own way. Let it be. It looks nice because no flower should look like any other flower. Living energy never creates the same thing exactly like another, only plastics can be done. Now, when it is growing, it is growing in its own way.

So whatever is built in within you, it is a living energy, built in, but living energy and a living thing that works. It blossoms by itself. The water of pure love is to be given.

from Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Adi Shakti built innocence within

Innocence is innately built within us. So the first and foremost thing that the Will of God built up was innocence, the auspiciousness. The first thing He did was to create Shri Ganesha, or I would say She, because the Will of God is Adi Shakti.

And all this innocence was created first of all to make the whole world very beautiful. All those qualities were also placed within you, all those Deities were placed within you. Specially made, human beings were specially made so that they should become saintly people, that they should have their saintly, innate sense.

But it happened in the countries which developed, that our brain was bombarded by all kinds of television, all kinds of things, and we became very vulnerable.

from Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Born again? Yes you can!

Jesus: "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

"How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Where resides the Gods?

Where the women are respected and respectable, there resides the Gods of our well-being.

quoted by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Great Spirit

Hail the Great Spirit, The Earth, the wind, the fire
praise my parents loudly
for they are your parents, too
Oh, Great Spirit, giver of my life
please accept this humble offering of prayer
this offering of praise
this honest reverence of my love for you.

My Mother - The Spirit

In the Gospel to the Hebrews, Jesus speaks of "My Mother, the Spirit."

Know thyself

He who knows others is wise;
He who knows himself is enlightened.

Tripura Rahasya: The Secret of the Supreme Goddess

Tripura Rahasya was considered by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi as one of the greatest works that expounded advaita philosophy.

It is regarded as one of the chief text-books on Advaita, the reading of which alone is sufficient for Salvation.

It will surely be a gratification to Ramanananda Saraswathi to know that his labour of love has at last found a permanent abiding-place and will not be lost to future generations, for many of whom it must become a spiritual text book.

Mother of the World

There is one thing that is invariably complete.
Before Heaven and Earth were, it is already there:
so still, so lonely.

Alone it stands and does not change.
It turns in a circle and does not endanger itself.
One may call it 'the Mother of the World’.
I do not know its name.
I call it TAO. …

The world has a beginning:
that is the Mother of the World.
Whosoever finds the mother
in order to know the sons;
whosoever knows the sons
and returns to the mother:
he will not be in danger all his life long. …

About Realization

Interviewer: How do you induce or raise the Kundalini in other persons?

Shri Mataji: Kundalini. There is no technique about it, because it is a living process, it is spontaneous. It’s something like seed has to be put in the Mother Earth so it sprouts.

It’s that simple. Even if you put your hands towards Me like this you can get your Realization.

Interviewer: This is a wonderful example, to place a seed into the soil, and seeing it - yes.

Shri Mataji: Yes, it’s spontaneous. It’s a living process.

Meaning of Adi Shakti

Adi means Primordial and Shakti means Power. So Adi Shakti means Primordial Power of God. At the begining of time only these Two existed: God and His Shakti. God is the Observer and She is the embodiment of His Will, of His Dreams, of His Emotions, of His Feelings and Plans. So She started to create and with Her endless love She has created the whole universe and universes which are nothing else but a beautiful cloak which Adi Shakti has made for God to wrap Him with it and to make Him visible.

(Hania, Poland)

"Shiva-Shakti is one and the same; however, there being deceptive appearance in duality in form, it is difficult even on constant thinking to know which half-part of one is combined with that of the other to form one whole. Both of them point to the essential unity in their primal form. They are the primordial parents of the universe. I bow to them to reach their true state."

(Gyaneshwara, Amritanubhava)

"I make prostration to Shiva and Parvati, who form the embodiment of all arts, whose matted crests are adorned with the crescent moon, who are to each other the mutual rewards obtained by their respective austerities, who bestow on aspirants liberation and other fruits of devotional life, who are the source of abounding good to the three worlds, who reveal themselves in forms of ever-renewing novelty with the progress of meditation, and whose experience generates supreme bliss in a mind contemplating on them."

(Shankaracharya, Sivanandalahari)

Thoughtless awareness

When you are in meditation, you must allow yourself to be in thoughtless awareness. There, the unconscious itself will take charge. You will start moving with the force of ‘Atita’ [Hindi/Sanskrit word meaning ‘beyond’].

The unconscious is going to work it out. It is going to take you there, where it wants you to go. You keep to thoughtless awareness all the time. Try to keep to thoughtless awareness as much as you can.

When you are in thoughtless awareness, you must know that you are in the kingdom of God and His people, His arrangements, His consciousness, is going to look after you."

THE EXISTENCE OF THE SPIRIT

FREEDOM IS WHEN YOU REALLY GET YOUR OWN POWERS WHICH ARE WITHIN YOU.

IN YOUR CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM AND IN YOUR CONSCIOUS MIND, YOU MUST FEEL THE EXISTENCE OF THE SPIRIT

FROM SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI

Mother of transformation

She is not only the Power of God as the whirling wheel of life in its birth-bringing and death-bringing totality; She is also the Force of the Centre, which bestows Consciousness and Knowledge, Transformation and Illumination.

Thus Brahma prays to the Great Goddess: "Thou art the pristine spirit, the nature of which is bliss; thou art the ultimate nature and the clear light of heaven, which illuminates and breaks the self-hypnotism of the terrible round of rebirth, and thou art the one that muffles the universe, for all time in thine own very darkness."

from Eric Neuman

In the beginning was the Mother.

As far back as 30,000 years ago, the people of the earth worshipped a female deity. In cultures around the world, the Goddess has been revered in myriad forms, in temple and grove, cathedral and cave.

She has been celebrated and venerated through ritual, myth, and art. These pages serve as introduction to some of the 10,000 names of the Goddess, and offer links to other web pages and resources where you can find more information about Goddess spirituality and mythology.

The path of Goddess is not defined or laid down in dogma. It is a living, daily connection with sacredness. There is literally no end to the ways in which you can find and honor Goddess. The Goddess is Gaia, the earth … Ix Chel, the moon … Arianrhod, the stars. She is Oya, who brings the storms, and she is Mary, who calms them. She is Nut, who births creation, and Kali, who destroys it. She is maiden, mother, queen and crone. She is lover and spinster, warrior and sibyl, nurturer and judge.

Divine Mother

Everybody and everything have a mother, and the mother of all mothers is the mother of creation, she is the mother of all.

Great Mother Goddess, in ancient Middle Eastern religions, mother goddess, the great symbol of the earth's fertility. She was worshipped under many names and attributes. Similar figures have been known in every part of the world.

Essentially she was represented as the creative force in all nature, the mother of all things, responsible particularly for the periodic renewal of life. The later forms of her cult involved the worship of a male deity, variously considered her son, lover, or both (e.g., Adonis, Attis, and Osiris), whose death and resurrection symbolized the regenerative powers of the earth.

Although the Great Mother was the dominant figure in ancient Middle Eastern religions, she was also worshiped in Greece, Rome, and W Asia. In Phrygia and Lydia she was known as Cybele; among the Babylonians and Assyrians she was identified as Ishtar; in Syria and Palestine she appeared as Astarte; among the Egyptians she was called Isis; in Greece she was variously worshiped as Gaea, Hera, Rhea, Aphrodite, and Demeter; and in Rome she was identified as Maia, Ops, Tellus, and Ceres. Even this listing, however, is by no means complete.

Many attributes of the Virgin Mary make her the Christian equivalent of the Great Mother, particularly in her great beneficence, in her double image as mother and virgin, and in her son, who is God and who dies and is resurrected."

Meditation

MEDITATION IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GROW...
BECAUSE WHEN YOU MEDITATE,
YOU ARE IN SILENCE.

YOU ARE IN THOUGHTLESS AWARENESS.

Grasp the essence

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the master of all masters, the greatest avatar, came on this earth at the turning point of human consciousness to spread the message of sahaja yoga, which is the experience of the spirit.

Through this message, mankind is able to understand the connection between all religions, cultures and the essence of live.

The collective experience of the vibrations from the spirit is the first milestone for human elevation. People get the possibility to have their own never-ending experiences at the level of sahasrara.

As it is promised in every holy scripture, the sahasrara makes clear the meaning of "Know thyself".

The Mahayoga - The modern Yoga

Yoga means connection with the divine. If you have these connection, wisdom and knowledge comes from within. You absorb the knowledge from the inner silence.

It´s the difference between praying and meditating. During praying you speak to god, by meditating you listen to god.

We need the modern Yoga, which brings us back to the roots. The picture shows the great Yoga of these times: Sahaja Yoga

Innocent is the key to spirituality

Be lika a child! Be free from the illusions of the world, which are created through the past and future, just play ya self in the present.

The Motherly God

Most religions speak of God in the masculine. For me, God is as much Mother as Father. To reach the Motherly God, one must proceed the Heart, with Love...

Heaven on Earth

Why we have lost the connection to our being? It´s logical, isn´t it? I mean look aroud, watch TV, read the newspapers, go out, is that how life should be?

Be honest to yourself, the connection to the self is broken, there are thoughts in the head, but they are so limited. What is beyond the thoughts? Is there something more?
